The story behind the artwork:Â
The painting represents the duality within each individual. It represents the never ending search for emotional and mental balance that we all encounter during our life. We tend to shift from one spectrum of high passion to one of calm and peace. There are those rare occasions were we seems to reach the prefect balance, the instance that we so claim as our golden years or our golden moments. The red colors symbolize our most passionate moments. The moments were we tend to loose complete rational and simply reaction by our animal instincts. The blue colors symbolize the times that we tend to make decisions based on rational and practicality. The gold leaf represents the unique and rare times that we tend to achieve the perfect balance within our mind and soul.Â
