The story behind the artwork:Â
The artist cut her dress in half and sowed it onto the canvas using her favorite wedding picture as the inspiration. She then painted herself around the dress and added a real earring gifted to her by her grandmother. Her objective is to create a masterpiece that will hold time still utilizing a significant object.
